Our first Corporate football tournament in aid of St Catherine's Hospice held at Burgess Hill Town Football Club, Leyland's Park was a huge success. Twenty teams competed on four pitches to decide who will become Time 24 Charity Trophy Champions 2005. One team showed themselves to be unstoppable. Time 24 'B' conceded only 2 goals in the whole tournament. One of the goals was conceded in the group stages to a team called I.L.G who eventually lost 3-1. The second goal was conceded was in the final match against Elekta F.C who also lost their match 2-1.

Wray & Nephew gained the most points (12) and the best goal difference in the group stages (+12). The two other teams that gained maximum points were Time 24 'B' with a goal difference of +8 and H.P.C. with a goal difference of +6.

The top goal scorer trophy within the group stages turned into a penalty shootout between Marc Allen of Elekta F.C. and Mark Hancox of S.C.E who both scored an incredible 6 goals each. The eventual winner was Marc Allen of Elekta F.C. winning by 4 goals to 2.

A big thanks to all the teams that participated and helped raise thousands of pounds for the St Catherine's Hospice.

WELL DONE!!
