In its sixth year the Twin Oaks 5-a-side Challenge Cup was contested on a cold and windy day with 18 teams playing in over 45 matches at Burgess Hill Town Rugby Club.
The standard of football on display was very good considering the weather and playing surfaces.
Also it was good to see some new teams and new faces taking part this year.
Crem De La Prem and St Francis B were the two teams that made their way through to the Final. Both teams making it through to the final were from the same league (league3)
St Francis B were the eventual winners after beating Crem De La Prem 4 - 3 on penalties after a 0 - 0 result at full time.Two teams finished the league stages with the highest amount of points (13) Franklin with a goal difference of +16 and Westfield B with a goal difference of +13.
The next highest league winner Big Fat Onslows finished with 11 points and a goal difference of +9.
The second place positions in each league in the group stages were In Ya Ear & St Francis B both with 11 points.
The Top GoalScorer Trophy within the group stages was won by Jamie Brotherton from Franklin who scored 10 goals.
