In the third of the trilogy of pre-season friendlies, Twin Oaks took on a Horley Town U15's side that currently play their football in the Epsom & Ewell Youth League.

After a fast-paced and frantic start to the game, which saw both teams create early, chances it, was the Twin Oaks side that took the lead on 5 minutes with a goal by Bradley whose shot from the edge of their opponents penalty area flew into the net. But for a fine double save by the Horley Town goalkeeper, Twin Oaks with the early game advantage could have doubled their lead on 8 minutes.

Twin Oaks were now beginning to create chance after chance with ease, however even after a change of keeper by the away side, it took until the 27th minute of the first-half before the home side went 2-0 up, a fine well placed shot by Harry after running onto a high through ball found the net. This was quickly followed by another goal from Harry, this time a ball stabbed in from within the six-yard box after fine work down the right by Alex and Tyler. To finish the half off an individual goal from Cameron in stoppage time, a scorching shot that flew into the top corner of the net. Twin Oaks 4-0 ahead at half-time

The second-half saw Twin Oaks concede an early goal to make the score 4-1, and if it was not for a great save by Aaron, diving and turning the ball round at the foot of the post, Horley Town could have halved the Twin Oaks lead after only 6 minutes of play of the second-half. In fact it was not until the 60th minute that Twin Oaks regained control of the game with two quick goals from Alex. The first a quick turn in the box saw him slip the ball past the goalkeeper with the second coming from a move that found him round the keeper and place the ball in the corner of the net. Twin Oaks now 6-1 to the good.

To their credit Horley Town kept going and they got their reward of a second goal on 65 minutes only for their hopes to be dashed by another Twin Oaks goal 60 seconds later.

A superb floated chip by Liam.I. over the keeper and into the goal. Score now 7-2.

After a further two minutes of play Alex grabbed his hat-trick goal, slotting the ball in after a pin-point pass from Tyler to make it 8-2. Although not really troubled by their opponents Twin Oaks seemed to take their foot of the pedal and allowed Horley Town to score again after 72 minutes to bring the score to 8-3.

Twin Oaks replied three minutes later to improve the score to 9-3. Another accurate pass by Tyler, one of many that he produced in a fine midfield performance, allowed Liam.I to score his second goal of the game. Still the away side would not give in and managed to squeeze in a fourth goal, but it was Twin Oaks that had the last say with a hat-trick goal by Liam.I, scoring in the last minute of the game after a fine long-range pass by Grant.

Although the game did not reach the heights of the last pre-season friendly match of that against Hurstpierpoint, this was another competent and commanding performance by the so-far unbeaten Twin Oaks team. Final score 10-4.
