In a crucial away game of the season against a Storrington side that had already beaten us at home, Twin Oaks could not have had a worse start to the match.

After only 25 minutes the away side found themselves 3-0 down. The score was to stay like this until half-time.

After a "constructive" team talk during the break, it was Twin Oaks who from the restart started the brighter and after only a minute of the second half played found the net to make the score 3-1. In chasing the game and committing themselves more and more forward the away side were always in danger of being caught on the break and after 15 minutes of the second half they were.

4-1 to Storrington.

Another goal for Twin Oaks towards the end of the game was not enough to avoid the defeat, effectively we had lost the game in the first half. Storrington had completed the league double over us and it was a bitter pill to swallow.

Despite the disappointing loss Twin Oaks were still clinging on to top spot in the table, but only just.
