In our only game of this month we faced tough opponents in another round of the League Cup in the shape of Hurstpierpoint.
Although eventually losing this game 4-0, Twin Oaks gave a good account of themselves and proved to be tough opponents for the home side. At times we matched them in terms of strength and for the best part of the game we were able to restrict their play.
It certainly had their Manager/Coach screaming from the sidelines, at one time asking his team to switch to “Plan B” whatever that may have been.
We certainly did not prove to be a push-over for what would become the eventually winners of this trophy.
