The second to last game of the season saw a mid-week away game against the side that we had played at home only a couple of weeks ago.
Another fine display of football by Twin Oaks saw them race into a two goal lead within the first 10 minutes of the game. Playing some excellent football the only "black-mark" of the first half was allowing the home team to score a sloppy goal. Any hope that Cranleigh Sharks may have had of staging a complete come back were dashed as early as the 2nd minute of the second half when a bad clearance from their keeper led to a third goal for Twin Oaks.
A fine all round team performance was rounded-off with a fourth goal midway through the half, however there was time for one more slip-up by the away side that allowed Cranleigh to score their second goal of the game. At the final whistle the score read 4-2 to Twin Oaks.
Still in third spot in the table but the teams around us all had several games in hand to be played.
